National accreditation criteria have been established to ensure the quality of engineering education meets the needs of all stakeholders. The process of continuous improvement of engineering education programs in Iraq aims to meet local and global requirements to achieve professional competencies for graduates. In order to obtain accreditation, each Iraqi engineering education institution must clearly demonstrate that its engineering education program, all accredited engineering programs and are intended to foster the systematic pursuit of improvement in the quality of engineering education that satisfies the needs of its constituencies in a dynamic and competitive environment. Self-evaluation report:
In order to ensure the quality of engineering education in Iraq, it is necessary to conduct a self-evaluation report that includes all the basic elements related to each specificity. The report should focus on the continuity of the process of improving the quality of engineering educational programs, including ensuring the achievement of graduates’ professional competencies to meet the requirements of local and global standards.
